People always asked where I got the name from, well Rusty&Sailor were my parents nicknames.
The whitfields
That is us two on the left. We both have spent the last 20 years since leaving art school pursuing careers in the creative fields. I went into Graphics, Web to Art Direction and did a little stint in Marketing. Whilst taking time out from the creative fields, it enabled me to really think about what I wanted to do (not marketing for sure, although it was a good experience as it now helps heaps), and that's when I met Robby. Robby has only ever been a photographer; he has a thriving commercial photographic company that runs independently of R&S. I have always been passionate about my photograph and knew I would do it professional at some point in my life. When I was given the opportunity to set up my own company four years ago I jumped at it. I am fortunate to have the help and guidance of a very very brilliant professional photographer as a husband, lucky me. Running my own business is very reward but not for the faint hearted or work shy!
What we bring to our weddings is a wealth of experience for the commercial photography world, where the client really does matter and producing consistent results time and time again is essential.
